🖋️ 02 November 2025 — Sixteen Years Later, The Blog Finally Begins

“Some stories take time. Mine apparently needed sixteen years and one office newsletter.”

Last Thursday, something quietly special happened — my first ever piece of writing was published in our office newsletter. 🥳 You can read it here (yes, this link is now officially part of my writer origin story): 👉 My First Writing – Office Newsletter That one small article somehow reignited the writing fire in me — the one that had been snoozing comfortably for over a decade and a half. I actually opened this Blogger account sixteen years ago. Back then, I was all enthusiasm, no discipline, and had one grand plan:

“I’ll start blogging soon.”

Fast-forward to **2025** — older, hopefully wiser, and finally pressing *Publish*. Guess some people don’t need deadlines… they need decades. 😅 But it’s never too late to start something that makes you feel alive. My recent Denmark trip (10–23 August 2025) turned out to be an unexpected reboot button. The experience opened my eyes to how differently people can live, think, and balance their worlds — and it quietly whispered, “Maybe you should write again.” So here begins my little corner of the internet — no audience, no comments, no filters — just memories, reflections, and the occasional over-dramatic line or two. Maybe it’s not about becoming a writer. Maybe it’s about remembering that I always was one — just waiting for the right Thursday.
